Inbox, Feed and Paper trails
Three places for three kinds of mail, and how each one works.
Inbox
The Inbox holds conversations with the senders you let in. It has two groups:
- Unread, at the top.
- Previously seen, underneath.
Open a conversation to read it and reply. Use Power through when you want to read everything unread in one go. See Focus & Reply and Power through.
Feed
The Feed shows newsletters and updates as individual messages, already open as reading cards. Choose Show more to read a whole message in place. You can filter the Feed by source, and Kistrl shows how many messages are new since your last visit.
Paper trails
Paper trails keeps receipts, confirmations and notices together as conversations. Rows show when a message has an attachment, and you can filter by type. Like the Feed, it marks what is new since your last visit.
Other places
Sent, Drafts, Archived, Not now, Spam, Trash and All mail are always available. Open the command palette with ⌘ K (or Ctrl K) and choose where to go.
Moving a sender
Where a sender’s mail lands is your decision, and you can change it at any time. See Decide who gets in at the Doorway.
